The 25th Annual Virginia Tech Department of Statistics Corporate Partners Conference is planned for September 25-26, 2025.
The Corporate Partners program continues to strengthen the department’s connections with industry and provide valuable opportunities for our students and faculty to engage with applied statistics in practice.
Rather than our traditional in-person event, we will host several activities virtually and partner with the 2025 Virginia Chapter of the American Statistical Association (VA-ASA) Annual Meeting to showcase student work.
Key Program Updates
- Advisory Board Meeting
This year’s meeting will be a virtual brainstorming session on Thursday, September 25, 2025 (9-11 a.m.). The focus will be on reimagining the Corporate Partners program to better align with the needs and priorities of partners. This collaborative discussion is open to all current and past partners. - Partner Information Session
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. (virtual), partners will have the opportunity to present an overview of their company or department, followed by a Q&A session.
- Student Poster Session
Our students will present their posters during the VA-ASA Annual Meeting on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
As always, student leadership plays an integral role in organizing and running the conference. The student committees are busy planning logistics, communications, and events to help ensure the conference is a success.
